our first harvest

our first crop, bitches.
So there they are. Our first little harvest of veggies from the roof garden. Considering the hornworms, blossom end rot, the incessant heat, and the nasty grit and grime that hangs off every building in the city, I’m surprised anything grew up there at all.

Meg and I sat and stared at them for a while. Meg says the tomatoes taste fine, and I say the peppers taste fine, despite the slightly thicker skin than I’m used to.

I guess now we can make stuff with them?
